Limiting your index search to a specific database

The Database feature is set to "ALL Databases" by default. This enables you to browse a combined index containing entries from both the ONTERM databases, i.e., the OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT NAMES and GENERIC NAMES databases. You can limit your index search to a particular database by selecting it from the pull-down menu.

NOTE: We do not recommend that you limit your index search to the GENERIC NAMES database. As there are under 100 records in this database, many index letters are "empty". Due to technical limitations, we cannot display only the letters with data.
